Meet Upstream interns Dheera and Julia who are soon-to-graduate seniors at @macalestercollege . They are both #environmental studies majors and both have different interests. Dheera minored in psychology and is interested in environmental policy and how policy can work for all people. Julia minored in geography and is interested in how agriculture and the food system can be a force for environmental good. During their 3 month internship, they worked on two important parts of Upstream. Julia worked as a storyteller—interviewing and featuring partners in stories that were shared online and in our direct communications. Dheera worked on creating a storytelling framework and training for a storytelling fellowship. Both Dheera and Julia plan to travel after graduation.
