At Upstream, community is at the heart of everything we do. Our Community Engagement and Partnership Coordinator plays a key role in connecting people across Minnesota, building trust, and strengthening stewardship through relationships.
This position focuses on listening, understanding community dynamics, and cultivating meaningful partnerships with local leaders, organizations, and neighbors. From amplifying Upstream’s work through media and public engagement to creating spaces where people can come together around a shared love for Minnesota’s outdoor places, this role helps turn connection into action.
At a time when many Minnesotans feel disconnected and unsure about how to engage across differences, this role helps create common ground, reminding us that caring for our shared places can bring people together and build trust where it’s needed most.
Must be a resident of Fergus Falls or Pelican Rapids (or the surrounding area).
