The bugle of an elk, the rustle of pheasant wings, and access to public lands. BHA Rendezvous 2024 is coming to Minneapolis.
If you hear sounds of the outdoors in downtown Minneapolis next week, there’s a good reason for it. For the first time in its history, Upstream Partner Backcountry Hunters & Anglers will be holding its annual Rendezvous event east of the Mississippi, in Minneapolis. The expansive gathering of hunters, anglers and outdoorspeople will happen April 18-20 at the Minneapolis Convention Center and other sites around the Twin Cities.
BHA’s mission is to ensure North America’s outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting, through education and work on behalf of wild public lands, waters, and wildlife. They are active in all parts of Minnesota, and help conserve and ensure access to public lands for people who love and care for the outdoors.
This year’s Rendezvous is a great place to learn more about conservation and other topics important to sportsmen and sportswomen and will feature a lineup of interesting speakers, demonstrations and highlights of partner organizations.
Aaron Hebeisen, BHA Director for Minnesota talked about the importance of the event being in Minnesota, “We are proud to bring the Rendezvous to Minnesota as we celebrate BHA’s 20th Anniversary and showcase the incredible public lands we have in the state. BHA members and Minnesotans value our outdoor spaces, and we practice grassroots stewardship to ensure these public lands are accessible for everyone, not just hunters and anglers, but anyone who goes out and enjoys our wild spaces!”
