#LovingWhereWeLive with Upstream Artist Fellow: Natalija Walbridge, a fiber artist and the founder of @dock5duluth. Nesting Season on Park Point: A Year Without Ducklings is a series of large-scale fabric collages, based on migrating birds and their nesting habitats found on Park Point, including the sand beach, an old-growth pine forest, several marsh areas with deciduous trees, and Hearding Island which has a river-like channel. This work celebrates the spring bird migration, mating rituals, and the nesting season. The beautiful colors and textures of the fabric collages encourage the viewer to look closer, just like birdsongs encourage people to look for birds in their neighborhoods.#Upstream #Minnesota #Duluth #DuluthMN #VisitDuluth #MNartist #CaptureMinnesota — from Instagram
