Meet Jenna Ray from the Upstream Volunteer Leadership Team.Jenna is a coach-style strategic leader, fundraising storyteller, PR pro, and equity advocate skilled in reputation management, program development, community outreach, and thought leadership. A North Dakota native and Minnesota transplant, I’ve been active in the state’s nonprofit sector since 2009, having served community organizations addressing the childcare crisis, arts and culture, rural resilience, animal welfare, gender equity, Native American boarding school healing, and more. I hold a bachelor of arts from the University of Minnesota Morris and am a member of the University’s President’s Club Heritage Society. I’m a matrilineal descendant of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa, with ties to the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana. I live, work, and give in western Minnesota.
