The work and labor they have invested both address their financial needs and our community’s need to access fresh local grown produce. Their efforts provide healthy solutions, boosts economic opportunity, and enriches their livelihood.Hmong farmers and HAFA members are caring for their place through their many sustainable farming practices.On the HAFA Farm, Hmong farmers are growing over 120 varieties of fruits, vegetables and flowers- from annual to perennial crops, incorporating cover crops and raising bees to increase the biodiversity on the farm.
