Over the past year, our community has noticed their power bills going down after slowly replacing existing bulbs with LED bulbs. A small change, but something easy to do over time. Here’s 5️⃣ reasons why: Energy Efficiency: LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs are more energy-efficient than CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamp) bulbs. LEDs convert more energy into light, this results in lower electricity bills. Longevity: LED bulbs have a longer lifespan. On average, LEDs can last up to 25,000 hours or more, while CFL bulbs last around 8,000 hours. This means fewer replacements overtime. Instant Brightness: LEDs provide instant, full brightness as soon as you turn them on. Durability: LED are less prone to breakage, making them a safer choice, especially in households with active children or pets. Environmental Impact: LED bulbs do not contain mercury and are therefore safer for both the environment and your household. TL;DR – LED bulbs tend to offer greater energy efficiency in your home, a longer lifespan, and improved overall performance.
