I am excited about taking on the role of a farmer, which stems from recognizing the significant impact we can have on addressing one of the most pressing global challenges. As a Minnesota farmer, I have the opportunity to inspire and mobilize others, drive positive change, and contribute to finding solutions for a better Minnesota. My passion arises from a desire to make a meaningful difference, promote awareness, and actively participate in the fight for the well-being of current and future generations. I do this through practicing Indigenous ways of farming. I am interested in building community through food and serving as an asset to many of diverse ages and races who will need aid in growing their own food in their local and regional communities. I am working towards changing the current system of efficiency and production to one that promotes health and the diversity of people and enterprises involved in our state’s food production.
